I have a 97 chevy 4 wheel drive with the vortec 5.7 sfi engine. The truck will start and idle. However once i place the truck in drive it stalls right away. What could be the problem i have a new tps and the fuel pressure is 58psi?

 

is service engine light on?

 

no the light doesnt work however we put a scanner on it and it had several codes saying tps had lack of voltage. we replaced the tps and nothing changed.

 

have you checked to see if there is power at tps?
