I have a 97 silverado with a 98 motor 5.7. It runs fine in park a netural you can rev it and red line it no problem. Well once you put it in gear ad try to drive it has no power at all I would say maybe 50% of the power. It has new plugs,wires,fuel filter,full k&n intake, new distributer, and 54 pounds of pressure at the check valve on the fuel lines. I also pulled the top off the plinum to see if it was leaking at the regulator or had a cracked fuel line and that wasn't the case either but there was some fuel in the gas. The engine only has 160,000 miles on it. So I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and could possible help me out bc I'm stuck also ran a code scan nothing came up other than engine coolant sensor and I replaced it. So any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm totally stuck thanks.
