i have a 1998 c1500 305 with an a/c issue. i tried sealing the system and than recharge is with a/c pro, and it worked for a little while but it no longer works. the compressor clutch keeps kicking off and it wont hold a charge. im pretty sure i need to replace the compressor because all the wires are good no frayed ends or anything. if this doesnt fix the issue how do i fix the lines or replace them without having to take it to a shop (short on cash). thanks in advance

The compressor cyling like that means you are low on freon again. You've got a leak somewhere (not to say that it isn't the compressor leaking).
Look for an oil track or have a shop diagnose it with a sniffer. Leaks are pretty easy to find tho. They always leave that oil track at the source.
