98 k3500 4l80e wont shift into 3rd
hey guys let me give you background on problem,
98 k3500 5.7l with a certa 4l80e tranny. i blew reverse in last snow storm, i took tranny out and replaced reverse band, also found the reverse piston cup was cracked. replaced that too. upon test drives when tranny fluid reached temperature it would not shift into 3 and 4. i dropped valve body replaced gaskets cleaned whole thing and replaced the shift solenoids. problem is still there. air checked drums. hard to tell. any idea guys? maybe center drum is cracked? im a diy guy. any help appricaiated. thanks anthony

Concentrate on that direct clutch.
