Default 98 z 71 brake stop switch

I replaced the stop light swtich .. i had a little trouble unplugging it the wires didnt reach very well and eventhough i didnt seem to force it., all of a sudden it came loose and the wires extended . When i put it back together there is something that came loose that holds the stop switch in place so it can move to make the connection... However i do not know what it could be that holds it. any help?

these things are usually self-adjusting so when the pedal hits it it is in the right position. You ll need to bring a flashlight down there to see what I m talking about and then fiddle with the switch until it is the right place when you mash the brake pedal.
