Could I easily swap out the 4.3 and install a 350cu.in 1997 Vortec V-8? would need exhaust manifolds from v8 truck...would everything else simply be plug n play? would need to trim or replace radiator shroud and maybe replace prom?? TIA!

 

My understanding is, the firewall must be relived some (beat in) for room. You need the computer and harness unless you go carbureted. You need special motor mounts (kit). A different radiator and fan. I sure other things also. I have never done it or seen it done. I have only heard people wishful thinking out loud. I bet if you google it you will find out everything you need to know.

Is the truck a s-10 or a full size? If it is full size alot of above does not apply.

 

full size...c-1500.

 

Should go right in with only the harness and computer.
