I have a 99 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.3, about a month ago the clutchwent through the fire wall, fixed it. we was pulling the truck to a safer location other than the side of the road, it died as soon as it was tugged on. it wasn't a yank it was a very light tug. Now it turns over but won't crank, it is driving us crazy. Can someone please help!!!!!

 

You should have a check engine light, with that you should have someone with a code reader get the code.

 

Make sure any wires didn't get disconnected. Also check your fuel pressure to make sure sure you are getting the correct pressure. Check the codes that will lead you in the right direction.

 

I had a similar problem with my 01 silverado. Is there a security light on your dash blinking when you turn the ignition on? If so double check all of your fuses. mine was cause by a chassis control module fuse that was out. Also if that does not work you can try a 30min re-learn. just look up the re-lean process for your truck.
