i changed the fuel filter, wasn't the problem it was only 9.99

hmm...
How many miles are on the engine?
with the truck in "park" slam down the gas pedal.
Does black smoke come out the exhaust?

Intake gasket, had the same thing i own the same truck just did er up 2 days ago

if it will run long enough, try warming it up for a good 20 minutes and then try hittin the gas, if it doesnt die out the intake gasket mite be ur problem, another way is get a glass of water and pour it along your intake gasket when cold, while running, if it starts rtunning even crappyer then u know its suckin air.
