I have a 99 Silverado 1500 with AM/FM Cassette radio with the remote CD player below the radio. They are all factory equipment according to the owner's manual.

My problem is that it will play CDs that I've made on CD-R or CD+R. My question is: It doesn't play CD-RW CDs. Is that because they are the ReWriteable kind? The CD in question plays in my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan but not in the Silverado. Other CDs that I've made play perfectly fine in the Silverado just not the ReWriteable ones.
