I had to change the front wheel bearings 2000 1500 4x4 silverado. Do to a massive shaking when braking. The abs and brake light went on prior replacement. I removed all four calipers and brackets to reomove all rust build up and greased all components neccessory. After repair I went for a test drive and all is o.k. until I came up to the drive at the shop, I could not stop. ABS brake light turned on again. Brakes felt like there soft. Is there any updates or something I did wrong? Any advice?

 

Did you bleed the system before you test drove it? Don't feel bad if you didn't, the last three "professional"mechanics who did my brakes didn't bother to bleed them, either.
