ABS light always on

RE: ABS light always on
Have you tried having someone diagnose it? A code reader should be able to pick it up. You can rent one from AutoZone but it's like $200 here (deposit only). Go to a local auto repair and ask them to check for a code so you can clear that.

My experience on a previous vehicle was a shorting out trailer hook-up light that would blow a fuse and cause the ABS light to appear.
Most AutoZone and Advance Auto stores will check your codes at no cost in just a few minutes.

Make sure you find the right one, because they are about $200 to rent. Its merely a deposit, but if you do this more than a few times, you might as well buy one. The price here was $200, so don't quote me on the price.

I just had the same problem on my 2000 Express. Had to have the dealer look at it. They had to replace the ABS controler. Cost me a deductible, but it cost the company another $800.
