Default ABS trigering during turning

I have a 2011 Silverado lifted. My question is the ABS triggers during turning
to the point it was activating the brakes while turning and this was getting worse with time. So I replaced the wheel bearing hubs and the problem is better, but I still see the light on the dash sometimes flashing but no brake activation. So I'm wondering if it could be in the computer. I would appreciate any help or ideas.

Sounds like one of the wheel speed sensors is bad or making a poor connection when turning...I'd check the wheel speed sensors and make sure the harness has enough slack for full turn in both directions...

It does it in both direction right turn left turn. The wiring does have enough
slack I just checked. So you really think it is a wiring problem or connector issue. I was thinking the computer might have a learning mode and the more I drive it the triggering will stop. Now so you know it never triggers during braking, only turning. So I would think the problem would happen all the time if it were a connector or wiring issue.

jetboatjim look at ABS PROBLEM its the same thing, are all your gages working
right? My voltmeter is bad, everytime the engine is started it shows something
different, I don`t know if it has anything to do with this problem or not, let me know
what you find. CHUCK41

Chuck, no all the gauges are working fine. I am going to recheck the wiring,
I'm starting to think it could be the problem. I noticed that when the wheels
is turned full the wire on one side looks to be snug. So I'm going to go thru it again. After what in2pro said, it got me thinking and I'm thankful for that. So I'll let you know the out come.
Thanks Jim

There should be a slight loop to the cable at full turn, not so much that it could get caught up or snagged on something but should not be taut...
Let us know what you find

Jim got mine fixed with a new sensor wire, found a broken wire under the
insulation on the old sensor wire. Check out ABS PROBLEM CHUCK41

Well I looked at the wires again. This time I lifted the truck up let the wheels
droop and then turn wheels full in both direction. One side needed a little more
slack but was not taunt. The other was loose. I would say that it looked OK.
As for a bad wire, I just replaced the hubs and sensor assemblies, so I would think there OK. One other thought I had is I'm running bigger tires which will affect the speed sensors, because the larger diameter tires will turn the hubs
more slowly and I'm wondering if that can cause a trigger because the voltage reference could be out of parameters set be the computer. Any thoughts on that. I now I'm not the only guy putting bigger tires on the newer trucks out there.
Thanks Jim.

As long as all the tires are the same size that should not matter, the system is looking for a fairly substantial difference in wheel spin speed from another, as I understand it...
