Default ac/heating systemm
2004 3500 with duel zone heating system

Driver side vents blows cold air and gets colder and then turn to hot air and get hotter then change back to cold air

Theres been alot of posts regarding your type problem. I'd suggest go to this forum, and find what has been posted. Hope you can find a fix.

What need to be done to replace the actulater that is behind the glove box or in dash

It's probably a blend door. I don't know, but hope someone can post to help you with it.
