Adding flex pipe to stop vibration.
Hey, I posted a question a week or so ago about a vibration at a low RPM. The more I looked into it, I found that it comes from the exhaust. I found that cutting out a straight piece of the exhaust and addind flex pipe solves the problem. Also if the problem contiues there are wieghts to hang off the tail pipe. I guess I can buy the flex from GM. Thats what it sound like any way. It seems the 4.3L which I have, is more likely to have this problem. Has any one heard of this or had this problem? Any help would be great. Thanks

I hear it too.
I have a 09, 1500, 4.3, reg cab, wt, new body style, silverado and I have heard a low vibration noise coming from the pass. side of the cab in low rpms. I figured it was either heat shields or muffler system. I plan on installing a new Magnaflow Cat-back system as so as Magnaflow decides to make it for my truck, I can't handle having no sound coming from the rear end, hopefully buy the end of summer MF will have my system for sale. I figure then I check out the heat shield also. Thanks,

I got the same truck but an 07. I think by putting on the new Exhasut it would probably stop the vibration. I havent heard anything about the heat shields but I'll take a look at em too.
