Im comin due for an oil change here shortly and tryin to decide whats best to run in my truck. its a 97 4.3 v6 with 243k miles, the previous owner has been puttin slick 50 at the 100,000 and 200,000 mile mark should i keep doin this?. I don't have any experience with a vehicle that has this many miles so im lookin for advice. im about to get out of the service and want this truck to last me through most of college. i don't drive it hard rarely go over 2500 rpm just basically babyin it. any advice would be appreciated.

 

if what the previous owner used worked i would stick with it....unless you want to run some Amsoil full synthetic or other's like mobil,...then there is the high mileage oils.....
