I just got aftermarket exhaust on my 08 z71 .
It's a 5.3 with afm. It sound bad in v4 mode.
how do i fix it? or can i just turn it off? if so how do i?

 

i would buy an exhaust that is made for that kind of truck i assume you are talking about the shutoff cylinders to save gas mileage right?

 

Right, the Active Fuel Management system....i didn't know there was exhaust made for that reason...i've heard people talk about the predator, but im not familiar with that, and one guy just had is deactivated...who know im gonna look into it more. Thanks

 

AFM is a tough thing to make a good sound with... thats for sure.
