Can anybody tell me if the AFM stays active in tow/haul mode? How about 3rd gear with the four speed auto? The vehicle is a 2007 Silverado with 5.3 4x4.

 

In the Tow/Haul mode the AFM is active and will go into V4 mode...
I have not seen it go into V4 mode while in 3rd.

 

Active in T/H but if you've ever notice it won't even stay in v4 mode log enough while not pullin to give you actual gains. I doubt it'll ever go into it while pullin somethin

 

Thanks guys. I often drive in 3rd around town and on the highway if I have a heavy load in the back. Just curious if the AFM activates while doing that. I don't notice it. But thought it might still sneak in there quietly.
