is it really hard to change the factory radio for a aftermarket one. i have the bose 6 disc radio in my truck. pretty mechanically inclined to where i think i could change it myself. any ideas? i do know they require a harness relay.

its not hard at all. i wired mine up in my 04 1500 and works fine. just match speaker wire color for color. you'll need a wiring harness adapter and antenna adapter which most car audio stores have on hand and should get with your new deck. i dont have a relay for my harness but you might have it because of the 6 disc changer. good luck

Try Onlinecarstereo.com . Save a BUNDLE.
I had to get a dataport adapter for my 04, because apparently sometime in the recent past Chevy stopped putting an accessory station on the ignition switch.
Start looking for an amp and speakers, because once one of your crossovers burns out, it's hastalavista OEM tweeters.
Rock out that loud punk the highway.
