Default Aftermarket wheels and tires
I've got a 2000 silverado z71 ext. cab shortbox... i want to put new wheels on it and i found a set of american racing pythons, the only question is can i fit 285/75/16 on my truck with these wheels. The american racings are 16x8 and have a 5" backspacing...The stockers have a 5" backspacing as well but i think they are only 16x7 just wonder if there will be bad clearance issues up front.?

I think that will be okay, you may have to trim the plastic skirt on the bottom of your bumper. What size tire do you have now?
