Default Air Condition/dash lights quit working

The a/c and dash lights will go out sometimes while driving and in the message center it will show a battery in red. This will also happen sometimes when I first crank the truck. Then while drivng down the road everything will start working, at the time everything comes on I can hear a clicking noise what sounds like is coming from under the dash by my feet. Replaced battery and checked relays. Didn't find anything wrong with relays.

Default AC/ stereo dash lights

I am having a similar issue with my 07 Silverado. It seemed intermittent at first and now some of the lights are staying off. I haven't noticed if there is a clicking noise associated with the lights going off or not. I was going to take apart the dash this week and look for a short. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this issue?

I am having the same problem w/my 2004 silverado. The daytime running lights, dash light (speedo), and a/c lights are out. Also, the truck cranks slowly in the morning like I have a low battery. Anybody know whats up?

Is the clicking a constant "click click click click click"
or is it just 1 "click" every time the light turns either on or off?

If it is just 1 click when the light turns either on or off then it may be a contactor or solenoid you are hearing
that just completes the circuit telling the light to turn on or off.

If there are several clicks... take it to a shop and get it looked at

All lights went out yesterday and I lifted up on the steering wheel and everything came back on. Seems like it might be a loose wire in the steering column. I'll work on it and let you know what I find.

Sorry it took so long to get back...
1.) Both batteries were dead.
2.) Both day time running lights were out.
3.) Speedo dash light was out.
4.) A/C dash light is out.
Dealer wanted $1500 to fix everything. I told em to pack sand and I will change the bulbs when I get around to it... I did get 2 new batteries.
