Air conditioner on when turning on heat

Air conditioner on when turning on heat
Wondering if anyone else has this issue and possible fix. I have a 2014 Silverado W/T and when I turn on the heat, the air conditioner button lights up and on the display it shows that the air conditioner is on. Not sure if it is a major problem, but it seems odd that the air conditioner would come on when the button for the air is not pressed. Any help would be great.

The A/C light will stay on even if the outside temperatures are below freezing. You can find more on this in the Climate Control section of the owners manual on page 8-7. Let us know if you notice any other nuances and we'll gladly work to address them for you!
