... that woul dbe nice, im not really wanting to hack up the wire harness.
i just wasnt sure how it would all act if i just hooked the hi power in to the factory speaker wires... im guessing someone has made a line converter that goes to RCA and plugs in somewhere..

well u will need to get a ifferent head unit. but they make that kit i was tlkin bout so u can still use ur bose system. and then u go to walmart or ur stereo store. and get the other adapter to plug in to ur aftermarket stereo and into ur truck wireharness. i prolly kow what ur thinkin. this sounds way more comlicated then i want to get into. bud i thought the same. but the its not that hard. jus follow the intructions and u should be good.

if i have to change the head unit then ill skip it. before i do that i think id just make an inline resistor so to speak to go before the hi input of the amp so it doesnt smoke the input side. under the assumption the speaker power is too much for a line out converter or a hi power input of an amp to handle.

i just like my steering wheel controls too much to change the radio
plus people tend to not try to steal the factory ones.
