Picked up my '08 Texas Edition Quadcab Silverado last night. I'm liking it so far, no complaints. Anyone else have an '08? Any issues you have run into that I need to be aware of? I'll post some pic's within the next couple of days...

 

Is the "Texas Edition" the one that comes with an electric chair in the bed, steer horns on the hood and you can drive it with only half a brain?

I detect a bit of jealousy on your part but not to worry Chevrolet has you boys covered out there on the left coast. I hear they make a San Francisco Edition for you boys with sugar in their tanks. Because y'all wear pants with the zipper in the rear GM has designed special heavy duty seat covers so your zippers don't damage the seat cushions. Also for the flaming type they are offering several new exterior colors such as pink, fuchsia, lavender and their best seller in Shaky Town is mauve. So please ZX don't feel you have been overlooked by GM. The next time somebody here in Texas rides the lightin' in "Old Sparky” he or she will do it in style in the back end of a Chevrolet pickup.
