I am in the market for a new fuel pump, what else should i replace when i swap mine out? and what are some key differences in pumps?

Sure it is. As long as all the bolts come off easily and and you have a hoist or buddies to help lift it off. So is swapping a motor. As long as you hook everything up correctly and everything goes to your favor..

New pump? That would work as long as the pump isn't to tall and it fits in the pump assembly.



& to who asked a few posts above, when replacing the pump, now is a good time to replace the fuel strainer and any rubber components inside the tank. You could also replace the sending unit if its in-op.
