So I have been lookin at several different tires for a few days now reading all the user
Reviews on them and I think I like the BFG All Terrain T/A's in LT265/75R16.

However I am reading polar opposite reviews about tread life and how many miles the tire lasts.
1 guy said he has almost 90,000 miles on his and another says his treads are almost gone at 30,000.
If the tire lasted me 50,000 I would be happy with it.
But all the reviews say they have great traction in the snow, rain, and on dry surfaces.
Plus I like the tread look too.

I was gonna go with BFG's Rugged trail, but the tire got terrible reviews as far as traction goes.

So how about it?
Anybody here run BFG All Terrain T/A's?
How do you like them?
Are they wearing fast or lasting a long time?

i have run them but it was a long time ago, i liked them. i heard that they recently changed to a softer tread compound that is causing them to wear faster. I'm not sure if that is true or not but the tread paturn is good and good all weather traction. they have good load handling capability as well.

I had them on my truck before I leveled it and I loved them. they lasted bout 65-70,000 miles and had great traction everywhere. even in some mud

Hi, have just fitted these bfg's to my 99 Blazer. Obviously can't comment on the longevity of use, but seem to run fairly quietly on the road, roadholding in the wet seems good for AT tyres and they seem to be less prone to wander at speed, probably due to their three belt construction.

I love them on my silverado. They still have around 70% of tread, after approx 20,000 miles. They're quiet and smooth, yet still look beastly. Also have amazing traction, especially noticeable on the light rear end these trucks have.

I had the BFG's 31x10.50s on my 2wd 97 Tahoe, they had a super nice look but a little bouncy ride.. only got about 40k miles out of a set thou

At the end of the tire size underneath service it says "123Q/E"... What does that mean?
I know the last set of numbers/letters generally are ratings, but what rating is 123Q/E for?

EDIT: nevermind, I called their 800 number and they said it was the load, ply, and speed rating.
It is rated for 6 thousand some odd pounds, 100 mph, and is 3 ply.

I have them on my 2002 2500 HD and i love them. I was going to go with the Mud Terrain but they changed the tread pattern and i didnt like the change so i went with the All Terrains. I have only about 10,000 miles on them. I have run them in the mud and snow. Works good except when in the snow the treads get compacted with snow and some slippage occurs. Overall i like them.
