I am reading about my 06 Silverado Bose 'Radio with Six-Disc CD'in my owners manual. The section on AUTO EQ (Automatic Equalization) is very brief. It talks about a CUSTOM or TALK settings. But I can't find anything on how to 'customize' the CUSTOM setting or how to apply it to a radio station or CD. There is info on a half-dozen radios for this truck, but information is somewhat brief in general and a bit confusing.

Does anybody have an additional instructions, web sites, documents or personal experience with this function?

All the custom setting does is let you adjust the bass treble fade and balance with the eq ****. the only other setting is talk. so you set it with the **** then you can toggle between your settings and talk.
