I'm trying to figure out where to mount two light switches. They are around 2.5cm x 2cm with a 1.5cm wire plug on the back. I don't mind drilling a couple holes in my dash, but I want somewhere convenient and unobtrusive. Who else has mounted switches? My truck is a 07 1500 CCSB Classic.

 

Do you have a center console? Find a good place there to mount the switches. It seems like a better option than drilling into the dash.

 

I have the full center console, but regardless of where I put them i would have to drill. I'm not willing to lose storage space.
