so im looking into doing a blackbear tune soon but wanted to hear from people how they installed them. im not too familiar with them so any advice would be helpful. on a lighter note i plan on debadging my truck this weekend and taking off the door trim panels.

The PCM on my truck was located on the driverside wheelwell towards the front. took all of 3 minutes to swap. Yours should be in teh same spot, I'm not 100% on that because i have the newer body style. I didn't mail my PCM in, so when I got my new one, it came with instructions on how to replace it.

It's worth the money for sure. When I keep my foot out of it, I'm getting on the edge of 15mpg. But when I get my foot into it... My MPG plummets fast. But you feel the power. Justin is real simple and easy to deal with. And will answer any questions you have.

I'd say it's a decent mix. About half my drive to work is hwy, the other half city. And my weekend driving is bout the same. I was getting 12.

 

im getting about 13-14 now. havent checked my mpg lately.
