I have a 1993 chevy z71 extended cab with two normal chevy seats in the front and I need to take them out so i can replace them with a bench seat, to add room for my soon to be new addition to the family, my question is 1. is this possible, 2. what vehicle should i get a bench seat out of to replace mine, 3. has anyone done or seen this

Hey, I would post a link for you but I am on my phone and it is kinda a pain to navigate
The web with it.
Yes it is possible and many people have done it. You can use the search feature up top
And try searching with the key words silverado bucket seat and you should get plenty or results.

Also, if you go to the main silverado page, up top is a DIY section where someone posted
Step by step instructions with pictures.

Good luck

EDIT: oh wait I read your post wrong, so you have bucket seats and wanna get a bench seat?
Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but your silverado shoulda actually come stock
With 60/40 bench seats, the person you bought if from musta swapped them out.
You can switch it with suburban bucket seats of a similar year, or Silverado seats from a similar year
