thinking of getting a body lift, wondering what some good brands are wondering if i need the gap guards? also when i buy the lift il be buying tires, i have 245 i think (whatever stock is on the 2500hd) and i deff wanna go bigger, just dont no how much bigger. would 285 kill my mpg? thanks

I wouldn't recommend a body lift on a 2500hd. They already have a 2" "lift" from factory over the 1500s. So a body lift will have massive amounts of frame showin and look terrible. Plus if you're only wanting a 285, turn your stock torsion keys up a couple turns and they'll fit perfect. No need for a body lift
