Default Blower motor intermittent.

2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD WT.

Blower motor has a mind of it own. It works fine on all speeds and then shuts off. After a few minutes it will come back on.

The motor is probably getting hot causing the relay to break the connection, recommend checking the wiring to include the ground wire to the motor and if they are fine remove the motor to see if there is anything rubbing on the cage causing friction.

Hello Rick,

We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an A/C concern with your 2009 Silverado. Have you made your servicing dealership aware of this issue? We’d be more than happy to reach out to your preferred dealership on your behalf for further assistance. If you’re interested, please send your VIN, mileage, contact information, and the name of the dealership you prefer to work with in a private message.

Thank you,
