blower prob

Ok here starts the problems!!! lmao I just bought a 2006 silverado. the fan know works 1-4 but when i put it up on 5 it shuts off. whats the deal

well i think i found the problem the blower resistor is going bad 25.99 at autozone

Yea i was going to tell you to change the blower resistor, about 30 bucks. mine went on my 98 silverado ext cab. what fun it was to replace....

well 25.99 was for the two hole mine is the 4 hole and is 60 bucks but they didnt have it so i put mine back in and now it works go fiqure
