First off had an issue with my blower motor, worked fine no problems until friday, smelled something funky(burned electrical / plastic) and then no fan at all, figured great motor went out - upon looking under the dash noticed a burned wire(black wire on the resistor) was burned through, and the plug is melted into the resistor itself, could this be caused by a bad resistor or do i have deeper problems?

also getting the dreaded p1516 code, had the truck for a year it started in the last month or so, have put part after part(dealer ship recommended) with zero luck, has a new TB, pigtails, box on the fire wall and a new peddle sensor. i'm tired of just throwing parts at her - she was / is a good truck and any help i can get i would greatly appreciate. thanks!

 

well, cleaned and replaced the ends on all of the ground. about a mile down the road, REP again.
