It was an Airtex brand pump. It did come with a different connector and an adapter that I had to splice to the harness. I probably should have bought Delco, but this one was a hundred dollars less and has the same warranty. I may live to regret it.

I have not heard anything good about a Airtex pump. If you have to pull the tank again is the $100.00 worth it?

You're most likely right about the pump and looking back, I probably should have spent the extra money. But at least now that I've pulled the tank once, it won't be nearly as hard the second time. I think I'll keep the tank just a quarter full for a while, just in case.

A pump can burn up and over heat from having low amounts of gas in the tank. the pump uses the cool gas in the tank to help keep it from getting to hot.
