I have a 2004 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. It's a white truck and the factory color matched body side mouldings have turned a brownish yellow color. I've noticed on other trucks that are a color other than white, the mouldings seem to retain their color, where as most of the white trucks I've seen have the discolored mouldings like mine.

Is there a fix for this other than replacing the mouldings?

I took mine off looks a lot better without them. Take a look at my sig pick. If you are interested and want to know how to take them off let me know! And also welcome to the forum!!!

 

if it bothers you, take them off. otherwise, wait till they fall off? or just leave em alone.

 

Get them repainted

 

have an "accident" and see what insurance can do
