Default Box that looks like it has a speaker and has a bright blinking green light and white

My truck makes a high frequency squeal that comes from the engine area when engine is off and parked. After inspection i found a box that looks to have a speaker and a really bright green light that after a few blinks turns to a bright white light . Any ideas? Chevy silverado 2015

Hahaha! Great answer!

Possibly part of an aftermarket security system - the squeal may be the alert that the system is armed or on standby; or it may be malfunctioning.

Could also be a siren and/or PA speaker left in the truck by a PO. Many volunteer firefighters/emergency workers have their vehicles fitted with sirens and/or lights. Could be they just wanted a new one when they traded in and left
