I have the silverstar ultras and they are really nice. Very crisp, very bright.

On the downside they are expensive.

You are better off to get a set of cheap HIDs than to buy Silverstars IMO. You can go with 4300k. They will be pure white and bright and you will not have a problem with the cops.

I lost all love for the Silverstars when I got HIDs. Not to mention neither of my Silverstars lasted a year.

Where can you get a good/cheap pair?

I ordered mine off ebay. It comes up to about $80 bucks for the cheapest sets. (If you think about it, its only $30 more than the Silverstars. Granted the cheaper systems do misfire occasionally after about a year of life, and they take about 2 seconds to reach full brightness from a cold start... but they are still better than the Silverstars.
If you go the HID route, you need to buy the relay kits along with them. If you just wire them up plug&play style, you risk burning the stock headlight wiring with the extreme current load.
