I tried to open the driver's side door on 1999 Silverado whenthe doorwas frozen shut. The door handle came off in my hand! How easy is it to replace my door handle and what is the procedure. Thanks...

i dont think that it is too complicated.... you might have to take off the inside door pannel to get at it but i am not sure

 

you do have to take apart the door from the inside, pop off the door panel and all the bolts will be behind that for the door handle, not sure how many there are though.
