A/C compressor runs then shuts off
I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3. My a/c works fine when I first start my truck then after about 20 min. the compressor shuts off. If I shut off the a/c for about 10 min.I can turn it back on and it will work for about 5 min. I changed the pressure cycling switch but it did not help. It has freon.Thanks for any help.

i had the control panel in the dash fail, sometimes the fan would work, somtimes not. Or if the ac isnt charged correctly, you could be cycling off on a pressure safety.
