can the get any uglier??
Sir I disagree with you. In my opinion the 2nd generation of Chevy trucks are the best looking with the 70 and 71 being the best. My truck (95 1500 Stepside) has clean body lines without the big boxy looking front, and the ubiquitous fender flares. Sure the paint leaves a bit to be desired due to the age but if you look at the clean lines of the front and sides then you can see that the truck has a smooth appearance whereas the newer models have numerous places on it where they designed unneeded curves into the body. In addition the newer models front end (except the Dodge) have the appearance of being carved from a block of wood.
My daily driver project truck that I plan on keeping and piece by piece restoring. In addition I can work on it myself without having all the trouble code issues I have been reading about in other parts of these forums.

Just my opinion - as was stated before everyone has their own taste so nobody is wrong here.
I actually like what GM did with their pickups for '14. They resemble the style from the late 80's and early 90's. Definitely a classic style with a modern look.
Whenever they redesign a vehicle - at first I'm not too fond of it but eventually it warm up to it. The only one I'm still having trouble with is the 2015 F-150...
