cant pass emssions
So i couldnt pass emissions yesterday.
threw a few codes
P1153-HO2S Cross Counts Bank 2 Sensor 1 Too Few
P1870-heard it was trans Related. I do have some slippage
Also had multiple cyclinder misfire
I was going to do a tune up, New plugs, wireset, both o2 sensors
wanted to know if that is the right way to go. I was going to run some seafoam through the system.
Also wanted to know if anyone can point me to a online repair manual or if they have a web based one and pics of the o2 sensors removal process.
thanks in advanced guyz...

P1870 Transmission Component Slipping
not much of a help, i know. as of removal protocol, go to library and find chilton. also, if you are dead online guy, go to autozone websiteand look through their online repair manuals.
it is always wise to post year, model, engine, etc.
you could go to a shop that specializes in emissions repairs, pay i think around $180, and they give sort of 'excuse" certificate. bring it back to emissions station, and voila!

RE: cant pass emssions
well,
1. can't look it up for you as i don't know year and model
2. O2 sensors are pretty standard to remove. you rent O2 sensor socket, spray a ton of penetrating oil on its threads, and remove it. unless it's sitting in some real dumm place and you have to remove half the truck to get it.
why do i have that feeling that you need to replace gas tank cap and run can of seafoam through tankful?
