I purchased an 02 Silverado two weeks ago, and I have yet to be able to open the center console very easily. It has opened in the past, but it seems to be stuck closed now. I can push the button, but it just doesn't open. I'm at a point where I'm ready to pry it open, but I'd rather not damage the interior.

Does anyone know how I can open it without damaging everything and then fix it? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.
