Default Changing out engines, need a little advice/help.

I currently own a 1995 silverado 1500, which has a 305 engine in it. I have recently found a 350 crate engine that is just a little bit more suffisticated and newer than mine. I guess all that i need to know is if it will fit, it has some different censors, and i'm wondering if i need to purchace a new wiring kit for it as well. Any tips would be nice!

Default RE: Changing out engines, need a little advice/help.

There should be no issues at all regarding the fit. My dad has a 1990 K1500 and he recently swapped out the stock 350 for a Gm Performance 350, and there were no problems. The 305 and 350 are based on the same block, just different cylinder bores for their respective displacements. As for the Wiring Kit, I don't know what to tell you, My dad switched to a carbureted motor. Hope This helps, and best of luck with the swap!
