I had a chattering Shock Absorber, due to the mount holes were worn out and really wide. I took it to a shop to get an estimate on a repair. They wanted about $250 to replace the lower control arm and align it. So, I put some thinking in on it and decided to weld washers on the inside and outside of the worn out holes. The washers lined up perfectly and are snug to the bolt that holds the Shock Absorber in place. The cost was about 5 bucks to get Grade 8 bolts, nuts and washers.
