Turn on left signal, blinks untill I put foot on brake then stops. If I leave foot on brake and turn signal off then back on both tail lights and third brake light flash. Was told this is a brake light switch problem, if so is this something i can replace or take it to the shop ? Thanks in advance for everyones help.

 

Should be an ez fix, I would follow wiring from the turn signal itself to the switch as well...Sounds really like a relay is out, if thats the case, its a plug n play fix, simply locate the relay/switch pull it out and get a new one in its place...if in fact that is ur problem, than its as easy as pulling a plug from a house socket and putting different one in.
