Default Chevy Cheyenne 1991

Hi everyone,

I am new on this forum. I own a Chevy Cheyenne 1991 3/4 ton, K2500, 350 Engine. It's my workhorse and runs fine. However two days ago, the engine started to studder and consequently stopped. I filled up the gastank with regular gasoline and added 1 bottle of "Tune-up, The complete Fuel Treatment for gasoline" Also today I began to replace the Fuel Filter. Could not twist open the nuts yet, because they are full of rust and crud.
Question:What else can I do, do get my engine running again?
Appreciate any answers.

I am "not a mechanic" but learn everything on my Chevy the hard way.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for your advice.
