I am thinking about putting an 07 GMC 4.3 motor into my 02 silverado is there any reason why it will not work, do motor and tranny cross over?

 

I would think it will bolt right up - is your 02 a 4.3L??

 

both engines are 4.3 4 sp auto out of 1500 series trucks the difference is 07 GMC going into an 02 chevy, is there an application chart or reference I could double check so that I dont drop $1500 on a motor and tranny I cant use.
