Default Classic chevy question

I adopted my unlce who passed away 1981 chevy c10 to fix up.. i use to drive it in high school and my dad drove it until a couple years ago and its been sittin for a while... yesterday i went to bump the engine to see if it turn over and yes it did.. didnt start all the way but im sure a change of oil, new spark plugs and gas will help.. has some cancerous spots in it but i cant wait to get started.. this truck means alot to my family... anyway.. i know its got a 350 but can someone tell me about the rear end and so forth.. the tranny is new and the engine has been rebuilt about 4 years ago.. im not lookin to make it a hot rod or a boy coddington type thing.. just lookin to make it a nice truck again...

It probably has a corprate 10 bolt for a rear end.The tranny is more than likely a 350.Is the tranny a auto or a manual? What else do you want to know about it?

Just count the amount of bolts on the rear end cover, if its the 10 bolt then it'll be the corporate 8.5" and if its the 12 bolt then it'll be the 8 7/8" ring gear.

What kind of carbuerator does it have?
