Default climate control

I have a 1992 Chevy K1500 with climate control issues. The other day I started it to let it warm up and everything was working fine. When I pushed the fan switch to turn up the fan the heater quit. No display or lights on the control unit. The fuse is good and I have power from the harness. I got a replacement climate control from a salvage yard and still nothing. I know it's possible to have gotten a bad one but am not shure if that is even my problem. Has anyone had this happen before? Is there something else I should be looking for?

You have the "screen" display right? I had a similar issue in the past on my 94. I swapped it out with one from the boneyard and it worked fine. I was told to make sure that the one that I pulled it from had the same climate control features. I am not sure how true this is. Hope you get it fixed bro.
