I will try the 1/4 inch thick felt stickys, should be a $3 fix from Office Depot It will at least get rid of that metal to metal sound.

Default Update on fix

Its been a few months now and these stickys are working great...


Not a clunk/slap since I put them on and they have been thru weather & water, still sticking. Not bad for less than $1 to solve it.

Wow, it's been so long I forgot I even posted this thread.

Lake Elsinore, spent a night at the top of the summit there when I was in the Navy. What a view. Incredible area.
